My name is Stefhanie Connors and I am the Owner of Salty Dawg Equine Services. I am a horse enthusiast myself and have indulged myself in starting a business that surrounds me with all aspects of the equine community. I have all the tools in place to help you get where you want to go with your four legged friends.
I have been actively involved in the horse world for over 13 years now. My background is in Equitation. I have had the privledge of riding with many different successful trainers including head trainer Karen Quirk-Johnson (Hidden View Farm), Paul Valliere (Acres Wild), Bill Lowry (Winsor Farm Sales Inc.) and Ray Whelihan (Clear Run Farm). I have shown everywhere from local Grazing Fields Farm to Vermont Summer Festival.
Many of you are wondering where the random name of Salty Dawg came from. The story goes like this. My first horse was a Holsteiner warmblood that was a seasoned veteran in the equitation world in his life time going to New England Finals as well as USET, and Maclay finals. When trying to pick a name I wanted something unique that no one else would have. "Salty" because he was from Long Island and the salty water. "Dawg" because he loved to cuddle no matter who you were just like a dog. Salty took me all through my Junior year.
